Helen Leeder - Jewellery

For all of her life, Helen has been intrigued by colour and texture.  This has manifested itself in different creative ways; for the past thirty years she has worked extensively in fabric, designing and fashioning unique costumes for stage productions in which the combination of fabric and movement make for ever-changing images.  Now Helen has turned her artistic eye to the creation of bespoke jewellery in beautiful gemstones.  Helen’s favourite city is Venice; its colours, its textures, its iconic architecture and above all its ever-changing background of moving water.   Helen has recently returned from a month in Venice and her latest collection has been inspired by the culture of this unique city.   

'I want to capture the flow and colour of water, together with the muted and intense colours of the architecture.  Working in gemstones which are suffused with deep and vibrant colour, I seek to craft beautiful necklaces, bracelets and earrings that women will enjoy wearing.
All my jewellery is unique – I only make one version of each item and so you can be assured that you will never meet anyone wearing the same necklace, bracelet or earrings as you.'
